So long-time friends will remember that in 2005 I did an Advent Calendar, except that in waging my own personal liberal commie War on Christmas I framed it around that year's Winter Solstice, which basically allowed me to cheat and only do 22 entries in December. And bring down America.

This will probably come back to bite me but since my main job will mostly be over with for the year starting in early December, and I won't be mailing cards this year, I've decided to revive the tradition. So.

Basically, it goes like this: I list everything I feel comfortable writing/drawing/iconing/fanmixing for, and you out there in the audience can request whatever you're interested in seeing. It's basically the same as any other fan Advent Calendar, except with less cardboard.

How It Works

You pick the fandom, topic, theme, and so on, but I get to pick the medium, whether it's fic, art, a fanmix, icon set, or something else as it applies. That's half of the surprise!

So, it's Halloween, and I've got nothing going on. I finished up the last work order and can't get going on the next step till the director makes some selections, I don't have a student to see till Tuesday, and I have no party to go to tonight. I worked on my grad apps a little, sent some emails, and worked on outlining for my NaNo-- it's technically a revision of last year's, but I'm starting fresh, with way more blood and guts this time. Because that was seriously what was lacking in the first draft.

Anyway, as always, non-fandom goes in the non-fandom journal, ssssso you might simply not hear much from me starting tomorrow and going to December. I am still working on Fanbook and hope to get something resembling dates and prices soon. Thanks everyone for your patience.
