...huh. So much for significant dates.

Guess what? I overshot. It would seem that 01 September was, in fact, the one-year anniversary of my first completed Saiyuki fanfic.

Someone asked me recently if I could compile an actually accurate Saiyuki fic list, seeing as my work is spread irregularly over three different archives and no one place has all my work (or, generally, the same version of). Since I'm a masochist, I agreed to give it a shot. And planned to have it ready to post for the anniversary of In My Father's House. It'd be all wankily commemorative an' shit.

Unfortunately, I happened to do fic before FH, even if it's material I'd rather people forgot. But in any case, if I'm gonna do this, now's the time to lay it all down. The actual, total list of all the Saiyuki fanfiction I've done in the space of one year.

It's, um. A lot.

The List

I've arranged everything according to size, and listed ratings/warnings and pairings as appropriate, for easy browsing. Ideally I'll keep this updated in the future, so this can actually be one source by which you can see just how obsessed I really am.

Oh yes. And these are all marked according to ka-com's Rating System, so please look to that if something isn't clear.

And that's as comprehensive as I can get it. My tags and memories (digital and physical) run out after a while, and things are so often lost in the shuffle, or in comments, or any such place. If you know of something I've left out, please let me know. I mean, you know, might as well go the whole nine...

The fact that you have actually written it all down, with linkies and stuff...well, now I have to dedicate even more of my internet time to you... *sigh* I have a lot of catch-up reading. Ooh, this will be fun!

(Go right ahead. ^^)

...old and sucky, she says. Old and sucky?? *hysterical*

Er, if it helps, most of this stuff is remarkably good to read, considering how old and sucky it is...

(Only most. =p)

I said 'good to read' personally, not just 'good'. Your writing style makes me exremely jealous. >_> It's just that for someone so very obsessed with your writing, I'm not really into SanzoxHazel. Though you might have mildly converted me. XD

Eh, since I discovered Yakumo x Sanzo, I'm not too gungho on Sanzo x Hazel either. XD Hazel can go get molested by Nii all he likes.

Oohoo, that's right, I still need to get you into this fandom...

Hey, want me to set you up with some scanlations? I have a full set. Not so ethical, but it beats ordering you to go plunk down $100 for manga.

*slightly mollified*
But still! Why!? I've noticed this is a common trend among really good writers. They get these fits of pique and take away their wonderful stories because they don't feel they're good enough. I personally think it's interesting to read all of an author's work in chronological order in order to see the progression of their style. And I really enjoyed that fic. *sighs* Oh well. I'm actually enjoying "In My Father's House" right now. Very interesting fic!

I hope you like Father's House. That's generally a reader favorite. :D You're fortunate that googling led you to this post, too, as it's an easy reference to all of the Saiyuki fic I've done, which'll go a long way in proving you're not missing much by one teensy fic being omitted. ^^; Trust me, it's for the best. I'm glad you enjoyed it, but it really wasn't suitable to be posted in the first place. It was a step backwards from my norm as a writer at the time.

*glomps wonderful, convenient list of fic*

I actually read the EftW version of "In My Father's House" rather a long time ago and loved it, but didn't comment because I am a bad bad person who was only recently coaxed out of general lurkerdom. *kowtows profusely*

May I friend you? Pretty please with a sutra on top?

*giggle* Friend free! Always glad to have more. I caution I'm not as active in Saiyuki anymore, but I strive to be entertaining. ^^

Oh dear, I need to update this list...
